Biography
I have a bachelor of arts in English Creative Writing from Otterbein University and have been writing since I was old enough to make up stories for my friends. Creating interesting plots and relating character-focused narratives is what I love most about writing. I love reading science fiction, fantasy, memoir, and horror. Outside of literature, my biggest passions are tabletop role-playing games and self-development.
I love reading and writing in the more fantastical genres, not for the flashy spaceships or gory murder scenes but because they allow us to explore relatable problems through the lens of imagination. Authors like Ursula. K. Le Guin and Octavia Butler show the best of what science fiction and fantasy can do. By reaching for new worlds, our imagination can soar, and our minds feel freer.
When it comes to nonfiction, I am personally interested in work that helps people grow. That can be by teaching us anything from better time management to the fascinating research underway to use fungus as chemical sensors. Memoirs are a personal passion. I believe everyone has a valuable story to tell. I love reading these stories and hope to use my skills to help others tell their stories.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have a bachelor of arts in English creative writing from Otterbein University. I took classes in both fiction and nonfiction, as well as writing for digital media. I spent a semester as a blogging intern and learned a lot about creating nonfiction content with a narrative flow. I have had fiction, poetry, and personal essays published in a couple of journals. My creative and scholarly writing has received numerous academic awards at three institutions. My experience with different styles and niches helps me bring the best of each style into the others to create works that are informative, compelling, and original regardless of niche or genre.
Interests and hobbies
I enjoy tabletop role-playing games, gardening, keeping houseplants, and reading fiction and non-fiction. I have a daily meditation practice that I love. I also like to watch movies and television, but I don't have much time for that so I'm never up to date.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I'm creative but no-nonsense. I see the story to be told in any situation.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
Stylistically, I come at most work with a narrative focus. Nonfiction becomes more compelling with the hint of an underlying story. I try to find ways to make everything relevant to the reader. I strive to always be answering the question I find readers most often ask: Why does it matter to me? I attempt to bring a glimmer of uniqueness to all my work by utilizing an extensive vocabulary and creative word choices.
On the practical side, I believe it is important to write daily. If I am not working on an order I am writing my novel or at least doing a thirty-minute free write just to keep myself in the habit. I try to produce as much quality work a day as possible before calling it quits when I find I am making too many typos or my brain is grinding to a halt.
Why should you choose me for your project
You should choose me for your project because I have a strong background not only as a writer but also as a researcher. I apply these two skills meticulously and strive to provide top-quality work that is backed by solid research. I proactively communicate about the state of your order at all times and am more than happy to answer any questions. I am always willing to collaborate with my customers to whatever extent they are comfortable with. I will take your suggestions, ideas, and feedback and use my skills as a writer to present them in the best possible way. On the other hand, I can work quite happily without much feedback if you prefer to give only minimal input, and let me bring the project to life for you. I am always excited about new projects from TUW because I always learn something new. I can't wait to see what I can learn from your project and what I can craft for you!

Girl Scouts Advocate for Chimps
Most of the scouts go to the same school. In their seventh-grade hallway was a poster with a picture of a chimp that was, according to the poster, “smiling”. The scouts know better. Because of their Project Chimps tour, they know this expression is a fear grimace, and the chimp is in distress. The girls acted and emailed their school principal explaining why the poster was inappropriate and asking for it to be taken down. Scout Sofia P. says, “school is about learning and the poster was spreading misinformation”. Some of the girls expected the poster to be taken down, others were less ho...
Things No One Tells You When You Start Meditating
At some point, meditation will get uncomfortable. I don’t just mean physically I also mean mentally and emotionally. Overall meditation supports better mood and clarity. But it can be stressful at first. If you are putting pressure on yourself to focus or get it “right” immediately this leads to frustration. If this is happening keep working at it and do what you can. Even the worst session is better than the one you didn’t do. Mental chatter can also turn negative quickly for some and can even lead you into dark psychological territory. I’ve had this happen to me numerous times. Try to...

You take one small step and feel your foot resting upon the soft earth of the path. Welcome to the pagan path. By picking up this book you have taken your first steps along this journey.
